- Audacity – creating and editing MP3
- Adobe Soundbooth – for sound editing and production
- Camtasia 4 – for making videos and tutorials
- SnagIt 8 – for screen captures
- TechScribe – for publishing
- True Box Shot – for designing covers for CDs and Box shots
